Samantha Mohr
Mohr Mohr, a UGA student who advised her that she enter Miss Columbus 1985. Miss Columbus 1985 pageant, won it. Mohr was then eligible to participate in the Miss Georgia pageant, which occurred in June 1985. Mohr took home the title on June 22, 1985. Mohr took home over $3500 in scholarships and other prize money at the pageant for the state. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia and also made appearances in public across Georgia as part of her duty. Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the end of September in 1985. Mohr had a odds of 22-to-one in winning the Miss America title. Computer modeling proved successful in predicting Susan Akin's success. Mohr wasn't a top 10 finalist in the race for the crown. Mohr's reign in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she named her successor, Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th on June 28, 1986.
