Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway productions - including the revival of Violet and the originating parts in Broadway productions that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of 15. She then appeared in Bunheads and Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has performed across the US as well as internationally along with their musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her first solo CD "Wish" along with the follow-up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Sutton Foster earned an honorary doctorate from Ball State University in 2011. She is also an instructor at Ball State University as a dance teacher and adviser. Since March, 2015, she has been playing the role of "Younger" in TVLand which is a brand new series created by Darren Star.
