Yael Stone, who was born in Australia and living in New York City in 2013 in the film, played Lorna Mello as the prisoner on Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's diploma from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush.
